Satan musters an army in Israel
[The word "Armageddon" is taken from "Har Megiddo" -- a mountain (har) that overlooks the Valley of Jezreel. Jezreel Valley, 57 miles north of Jerusalem, is where Satan will assemble his great army for destroying Israel.] |
And I saw three unclean spirits [demons] like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon [Satan], out of the mouth of the beast [Antichrist], and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they [the 3 frog-like spirits] are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty... And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. Rev 16.13-14, 16.16
| Counter-attack! While Antichrist's troops are assembling to wipe out Israel, a Rebel Army from Turkey and Russia will use this as an opportunity to revolt against Antichrist's tyrannical rule. |
[God said...] For behold, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country, and they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be captured. Their arrows shall be like those of an expert warrior. None shall return in vain. Jer 50.9
|
Babylon is fallen! Is fallen!
|
After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! Rev 18.1-2
| Babylon will never again be inhabited Thus, at long last, the Old Testament's prophecies of Babylon's total and FOREVER destruction shall be fulfilled to the very letter. |
And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It will never be inhabited, nor will it be settled from generation to generation; nor will the Arabian pitch tents there, nor will the shepherds make their sheepfolds there. But wild beasts of the desert will lie there, and their houses will be full of owls. Ostriches will dwell there. Wild goats will caper there. Hyenas will howl in their citadels, and jackals in their pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, and her days will not be prolonged. Isa 13.19-22
| Destroy Israel! When Satan and Antichrist receive news of the Babylon's destruction, they will not move their army eastward to fight the Rebels. Instead, they shall proceed to pursue their plan of destroying the Jews. Their vast army marches South, to Jerusalem. |
[God said...] I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. ...all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. Zech 12.2, 12.3b
| Israel turns to the LORD Besieged by her enemies, national Israel will at long last attend unto God's repeated offers of salvation [see Part I above - "3 Messages from God"]. Part of the call to Israel's national repentance is quoted alongside. |
Come, and let us return to the LORD; for He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. Hos 6.1
|
King of Kings and LORD of Lords!
[And we the Church, who are God's blood-bought children, shall be riding behind Jesus. Charging to victory! Riding to glory! Halleluyah! Praise His Holy Name forever and forever and forever!!!] |
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He [Jesus] who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations.
Rev 19.11-16 |
|
| Israel's Messiah Israel receives Jesus, their Promised Messiah! |
[God speaks...] And I will pour on the house of David [Israel] and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me [Jesus] whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. Zech 12.10
| God takes away the sins of Israel. The national salvation of Israel is fulfilled, as God promised. |
[God said...] And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins." Rom 11.26-27

The Battle is Joined!
|
I saw the beast [Antichrist], the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against
Him [Lord Jesus]
who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh. Rev 19.19-21 |

Judgment of the Nations
|
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with
Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All
the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate
them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand,
but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, "Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." ...Then He will also say to those on the left hand, "Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." Mt 25.31-34, 25.41 |

| 1000-Year Imprisonment of Satan Satan is imprisoned in the bottomless pit. |
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. Rev 20.1-3
| 1st Resurrection - Gleanings God resurrects those people who believed on Jesus [and were beheaded for their belief] during the Tribulation. Those people resurrected at this time are the *Gleanings* -- the third and final phase of the 1st Resurrection, as summarized below. |
Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Rev 20.4b
| 1st Resurrection - Firstfruits:
God resurrected the Messiah three days after His crucifixion and burial. Messiah resurrected the Old Testament

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes
in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die..." John 11.25-26a Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Rev 20.6 |
